Hi Lily Hi Low

A song of love is a sad song,
Hi lily, hi lily, hi low.
A song of love is a song of woe,
Don't ask me how I know.
A song of love is a sad song,
For I've had a love and its so.
I sit by my window and watch the rain,
Hi lily, hi lily, hi low,
Tomorrow, I'll probably love again,
Hi lilly, hi lilly, hi low.

  2. I do get tired of all the (excuse me) mushy stuff in the world that declares Love the winner in all situations. It is not. It may come back again and again, but it is sporadic as far as I can see. People hate to fuck with each other, I am sorry to say.

    Grrrr.

  3. That was my gran's favourite song to sing. She was married 60 years and on the day grandpa died she burst into tears and said "I never loved him."
