Bum Me Out

Fyodor Dostoevsky: "The second half of a man's life is made up of nothing but the habits he has acquired during the first half."

  1. Mostly that's true, but I've found since retiring that I no longer worry about every little thing and I don't care if my hair is messed up. Of course, I cut all my hair off, so that's really not an issue anymore, but believe me, there was a time when I fussed over it like Kookie Burns! I carried a comb constantly for over 40, let the four winds blow!

Oh yeah, another thing, I gave up creases...there was a time I would not be caught dead in a pair of uncreased jeans!

  2. You've become an old geek. Instead of a sliderule, you have the computer in a handy place. What ho, Kemo Sabe?

  3. Hope this is not true, or hubby's gonna have to go!

Abandon hope, all ye who enter here! (At least put on your socks and pants.)
