At The Top Of The Circus Tent: A Short Poem


"God didn't make sex feel so good
Just so you could feel guilty about it," he told her.
"He did it to be sure that you'd do it."

"I don't think you should talk about God like that,"
She replied.

"Why not, if it's true?"

"Nobody knows if it's true," she insisted.

"Nobody knows that it’s false," he grinned,
“But there’s no question about it at all
That sex with you feels good!”
