I know what it was. I meant to say it as I said it, based on an assumption that less than half my readership was going to know what it was (the only reason I know is that I read a great deal of history), and also almost everything built has an inside, dammit! Even you. I liked the idea of picturing it as a sort of slice-and-dice machine on late-night TV.
