Impotence

Another Snotty Quote

Norman Mailer:
"There is no greater impotence in all the world like knowing you are right and that the wave of the world is wrong, yet the wave crashes upon you."

  1. A little like watching George W. being elected President...twice!

  2. Nice one - I like that, Mailer was another Aquarian (31 Jan.)

  3. Gosh, I feel that way about dating! I am moral, with character, yet pervy. So hard to find. They usually end up just pervy and I tire of that. But you have to play the game to have any hope of finding someone.

  4. JW: that was worse. Even when everybody seemed to know he was a crook, a warmonger, and a liar, no one would even talk about ousting him. Both parties suck.

    Thanks, Twilight!

I hear a Cricket churping, right here in Texas. She never thought she'd make it~ She travelled here in my pocket--uncomfortable, but the trip was cheap.

  5. I read my own sometimes and am almost always surprised to see what I've said. Sometimes I want to take it all back, but I try to avoid that pitfall. I try to remember what Vito Corleone told his sons, "Don't ever let anybody outside of the family know what you really think!" If I take it back, somebody might figure out what I really think!

Abandon hope, all ye who enter here! (At least put on your socks and pants.)
