As a parallel, I used to be very, very kind to my dolls and stuffed animals, afraid they'd get their feelings hurt if I dropped one or paid too much attention to another. I do not know that if they got their feelings hurt if there would be hell to pay, but that fits your angle, huh?

ReplyDeleteWe have to consider them--after all, the dolls and the fluffly-wuffies are all (unless you have toy racoons) still awake when we go to sleep at night!
