Franklin Jones: "Experience is that marvelous thing that enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again."
I recognize a mistake every time I look in a mirror. Which may explain why I nick myself so much when shaving.....
How do you think your wife feels when she sees you? That's why she doesn't allow you to watch her shave her legs! Actually she probably thinks you beat yourself up too much.
...again and again.I never learn.
I like the quote but think most of us enjoy the "experience" more than twice.
I think my wife sees me as a large lump of fresh clay, waiting to be molded, like a rare antique pot! (Except she apparently used TOO MUCH water in the mix!)
Abandon hope, all ye who enter here! (At least put on your socks and pants.)
